New digital hub launched for Australia’s accounting profession

19 May 2014: Sterling Publishing has unveiled a new digital publication focused on Australia’s accounting sector.

Accountants Daily is a targeted digital resource aimed at helping SME accounting firms achieve business growth.

Accountants DailyThe blend of business intelligence, legislative updates and breaking accounting news, matched with key information to help accountants build more effective firms, forms the backbone of the new digital hub.

Independent of the large accounting industry bodies, Accountants Daily offers non-aligned, unbiased commentary on the key issues impacting the accounting sector via news, blogs, columns and peer-to-peer commentary.

Alex Whitlock, Sterling Publishing’s group publisher, said the launch of the new title empowers accountants to tap into the sentiments of the wider accounting industry and help them become better informed about the issues shaping their profession.

“The new site analyses the factors and trends shaping accountancy in Australia as well as looking at the latest developments in best practice accounting across the biggest and most successful firms,” he said.

“Readers will enjoy up to the minute news coverage of the issues that matter; they’ll also be able to benchmark their firms against industry peers and strive for greater professionalism though sharing insights, opinions and market commentary.”

The launch of Accountants Daily follows the April launch of Mortgage Business, a title created for mortgage intermediaries including mortgage brokers, financial advisers, accountants and SMSF specialists interested in the ever-changing Australian mortgage market.

“The financial services sector is continually evolving and the launch of these two new digital resources reflects Sterling Publishing’s commitment to tracking the convergence of accounting, mortgage broking and financial advice – and helping our readers sustain business growth in this changing environment,” Mr Whitlock said.
